Ok I have a buddy from another site who drew the Umpqua Bow tag for whitetails. He lives in Cali so he cant do any door knocking to find a place to hunt so Im helping him out as much as I can. So do any of you know of any property owners in the North Bank or Dixonville areas that allow hunting? Or know anyone that may? Any help you can give is much appreciated.

Sorry bud I cant give no help on this one. Hope you can find something out for him. With this tag you can only hunt in that area, so good luck trying to find a spot.

Where is the boundary for the tag? I might know where he can go!

Can't you hunt North Bank habitat area? Guy I know gave me a map of where he turkey hunts and it is a general area. If I remember right he told us it backs a bunch of private land. Let me know and if I am thinking correct I am more than happy to get a copy of the map for anybody. Not real detailed but it gets you in the general direction

Will this area contains the whole Melrose unit, parts of Dixon,Tioga and Indigo. Basically its all of Douglas county within those units. The best area I know for whitetails is the North Bank Rd area. Just a ton of deer out there but its all private and I dont know anyone who lives out there. The only public land out there is the North Bank Habitat area but that is off limits. So if you have any ideas on areas Im all ears.

Let me talk to a old friend and see if the whitetails are still hanging around on his place. It is about one square mile of property just out of winchester.
