The story goes like this. I was going hunting at our spot close to the house for the morning hunt, when we got there the hunting club we hunt next to had removed our lock from the gate so we repaid the favor and short locked the gate where they were locked in and I went home and my cousin went to look around behind his moms house. about 11:00am he calls and said to come up there with him that he had found some good sign. So I loaded up and headed north, Just my luck his phone went out and I didn't know where he was at. After 2 hours of looking around for him I Lucked up and found him. 3:00pm we head out and he shows me the tree to climb. About 4:00pm I start working the Grunt call, 4:30 I see a nice buck hooking a tree about 150 yards in a clear cut. I grunted some more and he is looking real hard for me. I grunted one more time and he turns and gives me a good shot, I shoot and watch the deer run off. The blood trail was not to good but after an hour or so we found him. This is my best yet.

Nice buck Team. But I am wondering, Why do you have the head in the boiling pot? Ya'll eat the heads down there in your parts? I have killed a lot of bucks but have always found the horns to be too hard to chew. Maybe I didn't boil them long enough.
