So I am considering getting a Beretta 9mm... someday... when we have money again ;-)... but I have heard some debates about them. Does anyone have one or have an oppinion on them?

I have a 9mm. It just seems to be my weapon of choice. It does the job not only in the woods when needed but for protection at home. Other than that my next choice would be a 38. It just depends on what you feel comfortable with. I think you should test fire a weapon to be sure you can handle it before purchasing it.

If you are going to carry concealed I would look at the Glock 26 also look at the SIG P226: Sauer Superb and the SIGP239 SAUER it all comes down to what is most comfortable for you. I don't think you will go wrong with any of them.
