Well, arriving in TN was awesome. I just love that place. We got our luggage, our rent a car and headed to the Motel. The same one we stay at every yr. for the past 5 yrs. Bob knows us well and gives us a great weekly rate. We threw the luggage in the room, unpacked and got something to eat. When we came back we just put on something comfy and relaxed.
The next morning we put in our phone calls to everyone to let them know we were there safe and sound. CJ and his girlfriend put on the Jam A Que this yr and will be for the following yrs to come. He leased a warehouse and let me tell you it needed work. So off to breakfast we went to "Cracker Barrel", love that place and then into Nashville (we stay in a little town outside Nashville, now don't laugh...Lebanon). Great little town and nice folks.
After breakfast we met up with CJ and Marcie at the ware house. Now you all gotta see what it looked like when we walked in. And than I will show you an after pic when CJ, Marcie & Randy were through.

Now keep in mind they only had 3 days to get this all done & ready to go. The first night we stayed till after midnight working. We had KFC and sat around on eating and talking. The second night it was just a little too much for me so, with the arrival of our great friend Tony we had more hands to help. But by 10 pm I had just about had it and needed to go back to the motel. Randy was in the middle of something so my good bud Tony gave me a ride. Made sure I got in safe and sound and headed back. And here is where it gets to be sooooo much fun.
I went to bed after taking my medicine & was late in doing so cuz I forgot to bring it with me to the warehouse. And settled in for a good nights sleep. Randy comes in the door about 2:30 am and takes a shower, crawls into bed just beat. Now you all know me. If there is a way to screw up, I will find it . And I did.
Somehow the bed spead had gotten pushed over onto the floor on my side of the bed, which I was between the wall and bed. Being on my meds my feet got tangled up in the dang thing and "DOWN I WENT, LIKE A ROCK". I hit my knee first and being medicated, I grabbed my knee due to the pain, (imagine that). Not realizing my "FACE" was heading straight for the floor with NO hands out to stop it. We all know these motels are just a cement slab with thin carpeting. I'm here to tell you all.....It is cement, the carpet has NO cushioning. My face hit that floor and Randy jumped out of bed. Still we have not had the common sense to turn a light on. I said I'm ok. I just hurt my knee. My face hurt too but at that time I had not felt alot of pain yet so I continued the the bathroom, which was my original destination. Suddenly I was dizzy (hush you guys, dizzier than usual). I put my hand on my left eye and side of my face and OMG. It hurt and I had a golf ball size knot on my eye and the side of the face. Still not thinking much. I finished my duties and went to where the sink and mirror were to wash my hands, turned on the light and OMG again. I yelled for Randy. He got up took one look and called the desk for the nearest hospital.
There was rug burn on the left side of my face around the eye, it was already deep purple and closed. Now being a small town, I said NO HOSPITAL!!! Randy they are gonna think you did this. He said he didn't care what they thought we're going. And off we went. I know this is a long story and I hope I don't bore you too badly.
Upon arrival they never even fliched. They just took me back, checked it out and looked at Randy's hands. The said the damage on my face, there was no way he would not have marks. The damage was too wide spead and his hand just were not that big. I felt better. Now we just had to convince everyone at the Jam A Que They took a cat scan cuz they were worried about bleeding behind the eye. And sure enough they saw something and sent us off to specialist that was waiting to see me. Now that is service. We walked right in. He checked me out and said it wasn't blood, thank God. And sent us back to our motel. Of couse Randy has still had NO sleep and was time to meet Bruce & Denise for lunch,(the one's who started this Jam A Que originally before handing it over to CJ this yr.)
Denise comes to the motel and can't believe here eyes, or mine for a matter of fact. Ok I'm gonna post this pic but please you all remember. I had NO MAKE UP ON and had just gotten back from the hospital. Here Goes Nothing

And this is when it looked good. After a day it just got worse & worse. the entire left side of my face started bruising all the way to my hair line and even my ear. Than across my nose and to my other eye. I just couldn't believe I was going to have to go to this thing looking like this. Ok so I decided NO PICTURES OF ME WITH ANYONE THIS YEAR!!!
So on Saturday, the day of the event. Everyone had already heard about my little spill and came running up to see how I was. As they all know Randy, they knew he didn't do it. Wolfgang who is from Southern Alliance Society, gave me the biggest hug as always and said, "Dayum girl". All in all it was a great time. We didn't have all the regular bands there as this event was on and off again so many times that they made other committments. However, "Preacher Stone" showed and played the entire time. They rocked. If you ever get the chance to hear them please look them up and listen to them. The are the best and just got a contract to do the musice for an episode of "Son's Of Anarchy". WOW, ain't that great?
Dang this taking forever. I hope you all are enjoying it. Well the taking pics with folks just wasn't going to happen. They all insisted of getting one with me and I still hate the pics. Here are a few with a explaination of who and what they are. Oh and the after pics of all the work the guys did.

Now, at this restuarant they gave you a bucket of peanuts and you could throw the shells on the floor. Oh we had a blast. Jane put this little bucket that ice cream came in in her mouth and Janet threw peanuts trying to get them in the bucket. Its was hilarious. Than Randy, Janet & I had a peanut fight and started throwing them at each other. And to answer your question. NO we did not get thrown out or asked to leave. And while at this place Jane took a pic of me wearing my 38 Special shirt and black eye. She took it to show Donnie, (just great). But she is going to tell him someone told me that 38 Special Sucked and it was on. and the that the three guys looked worse than me when I was done. Now that should be funny. I wish I could be there to see his face. Okay, you guys that is the end.
