The Ten Commandments of Firearms Safety should be etched in your memory forever. Let them govern your actions wherever and whenever you're involved with firearms. In the woods. On the range. Or in your home. Please take time to review and understand these rules. 1ST COMMANDMENT Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. 2ND COMMANDMENT Firearms should be unloaded when not actually in use. 3RD COMMANDMENT Don't rely on your gun's safety. 4TH COMMANDMENT Be sure of your target and what's beyond it. 5TH COMMANDMENT Use proper ammunition. 6TH COMMANDMENT If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, handle with care. 7TH COMMANDMENT Always wear eye and ear protection when shooting. 8TH COMMANDMENT Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions before shooting. 9TH COMMANDMENT Don't alter or modify your gun and have it serviced regularly. 10TH COMMANDMENT Learn the mechanical and handling characteristics of the firearm you are using. THE REMINGTON GUIDE TO SHOOTING & HUNTING SAFETY This hunting season take the time to protect yourself and your fellow sportsman by reviewing this supplemental interactive safety guide. Quailhunter you just need to study it and practice it. Everything takes time to learn but this stuff is very very important to know and to do it. If you ever have a question dont be afaird to ask. It much better to know the anwser than to make a mistact that could be deadly. No hunter safety question is a stuiped question. I know you have a good mentors so listen to them very vell.Good luck hunting and stay safe. ;D
