Ok, here is my new Cut Off Saw and table/jig. Click on image to make bigger This is what I used, but keep in mind I made mine much bigger than needed. Cut Off Saw Item #42307 From Harbor Freight $29.95 Metal Yard Stick cut to 33 1/2" 36" Threaded Rod w/2 connecting nuts 1 - 1/6" metal plate for a stop 1 - Base Board 3 1/2 X 19 X 7/8" 1 - Guide Board 1 1/2 X 20 X 1/2" Various #8 and #10 wood screws All total about $55. But it can definately be done cheaper, especially if you have anything laying around.

Nice one there Mike. Looks like a great set up and way less money than a store bought model. Might have to make us up one of those. Sure could pay for itself with a couple dozen arrows.
Which saw wheel did you get with the saw or did you have to buy special ones for carbons?

It's just a regular 3" steel cutoff wheel. It's made for a 2" but they are hard to find. So 3" works fine but you have to remove the guard and be careful.
