Thanks all. Been partial to blackpowder revolvers for a long time. The .44 has sent many a snapping turtle to it's maker.

I had a 1858 Buffalo .44 Used to use for the kill shot when we put a buck on the ground with the smokepole.

I shoot them turtles every summer Missy. Have already sent a few to their maker already this year. We'll be expecting pics of that new revolver Grizz.
