Yesterday was our opening day. Spent most of the day out back in a tree hoping to get a buck...didn't happen. Did end up having 4 doe come in though. After watching them a bit I saw that there wasn't a buck gonna come in behind them so decided to fill a doe tag. When I decided to drop the hammer on the one she was at 19 yards...the 45-60 dropped her like she'd been struck by lightning.

Way to go Quigs. It may not be a buck but it is meat in the freezer!

Thanks guys. Could've dropped another but didn't have another doe tag and sure wasn't gonna use my buck tag up on a doe. When I dropped the one...2 hauled arse east and the third ran right under my tree. Bore down on her and then it dawned on me I was out of doe tags...was her lucky day. Had to pass on a couple more yesterday for the same reason.
