Has any one seen any cats this year?

I haven't seen any, but heard that there are lots over by Pendleton. I would like to go over there later when the snow flies and I can track them.

I think that is easier said than done. I have done alote of elk hunting in the snow up in the blues and only came across cat sign once. There is alote of cats up there though. Good luck with the hunts.

Here is the latest report from the ODFW.
COUGAR: Cougar are reported regularly in the Maury, Ochoco, and Grizzly units, at all elevations and habitat types. Early season rifle and archery hunters should look for sign, particularly on Ochoco National Forest lands in areas frequented by elk and deer.
