I never have either Billybob, I'm pretty happy with my bow. I know that a lot of folks really like the black powder though.

I have a CVA Hawkins that I use occasionally. I would rather use my bow or my .270 win. It is fun to plink with though.

I HAVE A 50 CALIBER HAWKEN THAT I HAVEN'T HUNTED WITH YET BUT WOULD LIKE TO NEXT YEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE SEASONS A LITTLE FRIENDLIER FOR THE MUZZLE LOADER HUNTERS OUT THERE AS WELL.

Hope you do well Buckmaster. Nothing like it. My latest came a couple weeks ago. Hope to break her in right come season. No pics but here's the brochure pic that came with it. It is Pedersoli's newest...the Rocky Mountain Hawken. Here's the very first 5 shots out of her...I'm happy. Was at 40 yards using 90grs. of 2f Goex and patched roundball.
