I have a few rifles and a few pistols. from a 1861 Enfield Musketoon,Daniel Wesson replica target rifle ,CVA Hawken flinter,TC Hawken Percussion,,and another I plumb ferget right now. ;D 58 cal down to 44,,with a few 50's sprinkled in for good measure. Pistols,I have a pair of 45cal single shots,plus 1858 Remington 44,Whitney in 36,,Colt baby dragoon in 31 cal for revolvers. All great fun,,havent hunted anything with them besides charging pop cans and such.

Been shooting the Lyman GPR for several years now. Also shoot the 1860 Army in .44 caliber. Have owned quite a few in my day though.

Added a few more since my last post. Ordered a Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Hawken in .54 caliber right after Christmas of 2005...got here in June of 2006. Long about that same time I had a gentleman in Georgia build me a slender little southern long rifle flintlock in .40 caliber. Also bought the 1861 Navy by Uberti and had a friend give me an Optima in-line. Never owned or wanted one but took it anyway. Found out it shoots patched roundballs real well.

TC encore 50 cal inline, but my next ones gonna be a lyman plains rifle.from the hawkins plans I been seein thats about as close as you can get to a half stock hawkins, plus I like the twist for round balls

Been many a deer and critter fall to my Lyman Grizz. Can get different barrels for it too.

Twist on the hunter barrel is 1:32 twist BS.
