Is anyone else shooting a STS? How about a Windstalker cable slide? What custom touches do you have on your bows and why? Myself I am shooting STS on both Bowwrecks as it has allowed me to strip all the fugly silenceing gear off of both bows and increaced speed a couple of fps also both bows are camo risers with competition limbs. one in MOOB the other is Max4 with carters custom strings flo.orange and dark green&black both bows, crackerized!!!

Maybe someday I can have Mike work on my bows, but for now I can barely afford to sponsor myself lol. Nothin fancy on mine, just the basics.

Mike builds and installs strings cheaper than i have paid for a string alone so crackerized is a option i cant rule out as he is the go to man if you are haveing tuning fits with a bowtech. get a hold of one that is wrong and see how hard it is to get a straight answer from anyone else. very reasonable for the service he provides. good luck

If you dont mind me askin, how much did you have to pay to have Mike work on it? Usually we do our own strings an stuff (nice to have a friend with a press ) so I dont worry about the cost too much with a single cam. Just heard and read lots of good things about Crackers and was thinking about it.

my equipments about as basic as you can get , I've got a hoyt pro tec with lx pro limbs because of my long draw and the fact I shoot fingers for tournaments and indoor, and for hunting I use a stick and a string.......lol been shooting recurves for 40 years for hunting, just never saw any reason to change

love my recurve just wished it loved me back then if i spend too much time with it the tempermental wheel bows (Junkyard on a string ) leave me looking like Shultz on hoggans heroes I know nothing!!! but i do love all archery it alows me to walk this line on the edge of lethality. when it all comes down to it its just training for the moment of truth. a clean and ethical kill is the most any archer can possibly ask for! qwhen you walkup to a deer in the back of your buddys truck you dont tell him you'd score it better if he had hit it where the 12 ring is... DEAD & RECOVERED is the best we can wish for. let em fly boys
